Terms

Ottobrowse is a CRM for sales teams. It keeps your accounts, contacts and deals and reads your connected inbox for threads with your contacts. On the paid plan an AI agent also researches companies on the public web and drafts messages. Only you send them.

Your account

You need an account and are responsible for keeping access secure and your records accurate. Each account is one seat for one person. Tell us promptly if you think someone else is using your account.

Plans and payment

Ottobrowse Free costs nothing, needs no card and does not expire. It covers the CRM itself: the pipeline, accounts, contacts, notes, next steps, your Gmail threads, emails you write, templates, sequences, and import and export. It includes no AI. We may set reasonable limits on storage and use to keep it free, and will tell you before a limit affects you.

Ottobrowse Pro adds the agent. It is a monthly subscription at $49 a seat, in USD, before applicable taxes. It begins with a 14-day free trial, once per account; a card is required to start it, and the first charge is made when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. If you cancel, your account continues on Free.

Pro includes, each billing period, 400 research jobs (researching one account, finding leads, or a job in your own words, counted once for each company it covers) and 1,000 drafted messages, with up to 60 agent actions a day. When an allowance is used the agent pauses until the next period; there are no usage charges. A job that fails, or produces nothing, gives its allowance back. Allowances do not roll over. Deals, contacts, accounts, notes and the pipeline are not limited.

Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. Cancel from Plan in the CRM at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid period. If a payment fails, the agent may stop starting new jobs until it clears; your records stay accessible. Charges are not refundable except where the law requires it. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before raising prices, and you can cancel instead.

You are the sender

The agent reads, researches, fills in fields and drafts. It does not send an email, book a meeting, submit a form or delete a record; you do, after reading what it wrote. Messages go out from your own mailbox, under your name, and you are responsible for them: for their truth, for having a lawful basis to contact the people you write to, and for following the rules that apply to commercial email where you and they are, including honouring opt-outs.

Research reads public pages and a web search, and every point in a brief names its source. Check what matters before you rely on it. Do not use Ottobrowse to collect personal data you have no lawful basis to hold, to send spam, or to get around a site’s security or access controls.

What we do not promise

Ottobrowse is in public beta. Features may change, be added, or be withdrawn while we finish them. The service is provided as is. We do not offer a service-level agreement, and we do not guarantee that research is complete or correct, that a site can be read, that a draft is right to send, or that Ottobrowse will win you deals. Third-party sites change and break without warning. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.

Your content and ours

Your records, your mail and what the agent finds for you stay yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service for you. The service itself — the software, the site and the name — stays ours.

Ending

You can cancel your plan and delete your account at any time from Plan in the CRM; deletion removes your data as described in the Privacy policy. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, that is used to abuse people or sites, or where we are required to.

Retired: terms that covered the job search

The job search was retired on 8 October 2026 and no longer runs. These are the terms that covered it while it did; they apply to anything that happened then. Its data stays downloadable and deletable from Plan in the CRM.

Job search: free and paid

Ottobrowse Free requires no card and does not expire. It covers records you keep yourself: applications you enter, the commitment calendar, the answer vault, offer comparison, referral and contact tracking, hidden employers, and analytics over your own data. It includes no application preparation, discovery, document generation, outreach, mailbox sync or browser use, and reserves no allowance.

The paid service is sold as 3 monthly plans in USD, before applicable taxes: Ottobrowse Starter at $20, Ottobrowse Professional at $60, Ottobrowse Executive at $100. An active, paid subscription is required for new application preparation, recruiter research and outreach, job discovery, document generation, and browser assistance. Legacy browser API plans do not include the job-search subscription.

Plans differ only in how much work they allow each month. They include, from Ottobrowse Starter to Ottobrowse Executive: 10 / 40 / 75 application preparations, 15 / 60 / 120 outreach and reply drafts, 15 / 60 / 120 job discovery runs, and 5 / 25 / 50 tailored document versions per month. Daily limits and allowances were shown on the job searchDaily limits and the allowances for your own plan are listed in Billing and usage.rsquo;s Billing page. Requests reserve capacity before work begins, so failed or canceled requests can use an allowance. Allowances renew with your billing period and do not roll over. There are no automatic usage charges.

Job search: you are the applicant

Applications and emails go out under your name, with your approval. You are responsible for the truth of what you submit, including attestations on employer forms. Ottobrowse shows you exactly what the form holds before you submit, and flags any written claim it could not trace to something you confirmed — review them. Automatic submission requires your explicit schedule authorization and is limited to supported sites. Without that authorization, you submit yourself.

Each job site is reviewed before Ottobrowse acts on it. Where a site’s terms do not permit automated applications, Ottobrowse prepares your materials and you apply there yourself. When Ottobrowse writes to people about roles, keep it professional and relevant: it limits how many new people you can contact per day, sends at most one follow-up, includes an opt-out in every first message, and permanently stops contacting anyone who asks it to.

Job search: scheduled applications

You choose your criteria, selected résumé, schedule, and whether to authorize automatic submission or review each application. The service may share your confirmed information with matching employers while filling forms, before final submission. Missing answers, personal declarations, unsupported sites, unverified claims, and verification challenges need your attention. Pausing stops new automated work; a submission already in progress may finish. Profile changes require reviewing and saving the schedule again. Attempts with uncertain submission outcomes are not retried automatically. Recruiter email sending requires separate approval.

Supplemental terms for existing standalone browser API accounts

The standalone browser API is no longer sold. These terms continue to cover projects that already have one.

Browser API: what you may run

A cloud browser is a general tool, and most of what people do with one is ordinary and fine — testing, scraping public data, filling forms, letting a person take over when a script gets stuck. These are the things you may not do with ours:

  • Breaking into accounts you do not own — credential stuffing, brute forcing, or session hijacking.
  • Defeating a site’s security or access controls, including CAPTCHAs, rate limits and bot detection.
  • Denial-of-service, spam, click fraud, or inflating traffic and engagement metrics.
  • Collecting personal data you have no lawful basis to collect, or scraping in breach of a site’s terms.
  • Unlawful material, or content that sexually exploits children.
  • Reselling raw browser sessions as a competing browser-infrastructure service.

We do not watch what loads inside your browsers, so enforcement is complaint- and abuse-signal driven. When we do act we will suspend the project and tell you why. Sustained or serious abuse ends the account.

Browser API: plans and payment

These browser API plans are monthly subscriptions, and every one of them collects a card — including the browser API’s own Free plan, to help prevent misuse. That plan is separate from the job search’s Ottobrowse Free described above, which collects no card. The browser API Free plan does not automatically upgrade to a paid plan. Its access is also subject to shared monthly capacity and may pause when that capacity is used, even if an individual account has time remaining.

  • Free — $0 a month, 1 browser-hour included, and it stops there rather than charging you.
  • Developer — $20 a month, 100 browser-hours included, then $0.20 per browser-hour.
  • Scale — $100 a month, 500 browser-hours included, then $0.20 per browser-hour.

A browser-hour is one browser running for one hour, counted from when it is ready to when it stops — a browser idling while someone watches the live view costs the same as one working, so release them when you are done. Time past the included hours is billed by the minute at the hourly rate, and each session counts for at least one minute. Subscriptions that began before 22 September 2026 keep whole-hour billing, where the part-hour at the end of a period is not billed. Fees are exclusive of tax. Charges are not refundable except where the law requires it, or where we billed you for something that plainly did not run.

You can request a plan change or cancellation at any time by writing to support@ottobrowse.com. Both take effect at the end of your current billing period. Unused hours do not carry over. These plans are no longer sold; existing subscriptions keep their agreed prices unless you choose a new plan or receive the notice described below. If a payment fails we may suspend new sessions until it clears. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before raising prices, and you can cancel instead.
